Motion Templates Sent to FCP

I spent a whole day, after 3 years still a novice here, creating a template for a project I am developing. Once I completed, saved it, I sent it to FCP. Once in FCP, the motion template appears in Motion and in the browser in FCP, but when I attempt to see in the viewer, nothing appears. Black Screen. What am I doing wrong? It was a simple template.. I attempted again with one of the custom templates, sent it to FCP, nothing happens. Can someone direct me.
